Roles & Permissions
Every person in your Eazybe organization has one of four roles. The role decides which parts of the workspace they can open and whose data they see.The Owner can do everything an Admin can, and the Owner’s own chats and activity stay private: no other role can see them, including Admins. The Owner label appears under Settings → Profile for the person who created the organization. Anyone who joins an existing organization starts as an Employee.
What each role can do
- Owner
- Admin
- Manager
- Employee
The Owner is the person who created the organization.
- Has full access to every section of the workspace
- Can do everything an Admin can do
- Sees chats and activity for everyone in the organization
- Keeps their own chats and activity private from every other role
- Access cannot be restricted by anyone
Permissions at a glance
Assigning a role
Only an Owner or Admin can assign or change a role.1
Open Staff
In the workspace sidebar, click Staff.
2
Add or edit a person
Click Add Employee to invite someone new. For an existing person, open the ⋯ menu on their row and click Edit Employee Details.
3
Choose the role
In Employee Role, select Admin, Manager or Employee.
4
Save
Click Send Invite for a new person, or Save Changes for an existing one.
You can have more than one Admin. A pending invite cannot be edited until the person accepts it.
Customizing access with Members & Access
On the Scaler plan, you can choose which sections Managers and Employees can open. Go to Settings → Members & Access.- By role sets the default for everyone with that role.
- By member overrides the default for one person. Click Reset to role default to remove the overrides.
Turning a section on lets a person open it. It does not widen whose data they see, and it does not unlock Admin-only actions such as changing the plan or connecting a WhatsApp Business API number.
