How to Enable Privacy Blur

Open Settings

Click the Settings button (gear icon) in the Eazybe sidebar

Find Security Settings

Scroll to the Security Settings section

Enable Blur Options

Toggle the options you need:
  • Blur Contact Name — Obscures contact names in chats and lists
  • Blur Contact Image — Obscures profile pictures

Set Scope (Admin Only)

Admins can choose who the settings apply to:
  • Everyone — All organization members
  • Everyone except admin — Protect data while admins retain full visibility

Signature Feature

Add a professional signature to all outgoing messages:
  1. Enable Add Signature in settings
  2. Enter your desired signature text
  3. Click the checkmark to save
  4. Your signature appears above every message you send
The signature feature doesn’t currently support emojis. Keep your signature professional and concise.

Other Customization Options

  • AI Button — Toggle AI suggestions on/off
  • Make Full Screen — Expand WhatsApp to fill the entire browser
  • Hide All Label — Remove the “All” label from the top bar

Currently, blur settings apply to all contacts. You cannot selectively blur individual contacts while showing others.
Yes, privacy blur applies to both individual chats and group conversations, including all participant information.
No, when an admin enables blur for “Everyone,” individual team members cannot override this setting. If set to “Everyone except admin,” admins retain the ability to see unblurred data.
The data is visually obscured on screen. The underlying data remains accessible through normal WhatsApp functions—blur is a visual privacy feature, not a data access control.
