Click on the Calendar icon on the right-side bar.

You will be able to see two options- Sign in with Google or Proceed without Google Calendar.

If you choose to proceed without Google calendar you can directly create the event by clicking on the plus button and selecting the date-time and writing the description of the event.

You can also directly sign-in using your google account and once you do, you’ll see a popup to turn off notifications, it will be turned on by default.

You can add events, add G-meet links and you can share it with the respective contacts and can also add contacts from Gmail and WhatsApp for the event as given below.
