# Chat Backup to Zoho

> Log every WhatsApp message to Zoho record timeline

## The Problem

WhatsApp conversations happen outside Zoho:

* Managers have no visibility
* When reps leave, history is lost
* No audit trail

## The Solution

Every WhatsApp message automatically appears in Zoho timeline.

## Step-by-Step Setup

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Integration Settings">
    Go to **Settings** → **Integrations** → **Zoho CRM**

  <Step title="Enable Chat Backup">
    Toggle **Backup chats to Zoho** to ON

  <Step title="Choose Activity Type">
    Select how messages appear:

    * **Notes** - As notes on record
    * **Activity** - As WhatsApp activity

    Choose what to backup:

    * ✅ Text messages
