HubSpot segments—previously called lists—help you group contacts using properties and filter criteria. After the segment finishes processing, you can select it from **New broadcast → HubSpot contact list** in Eazybe. ## Before you begin * Your HubSpot user needs **Write segments** permission. * Contacts should have a valid number in **Mobile phone number** or **Phone number**. * HubSpot must be connected to the same Eazybe workspace used for the broadcast. ## Create the segment In HubSpot, select **More → CRM → Segments**. If **More** is not displayed, open **CRM → Segments** directly. You can filter using standard or custom HubSpot contact properties. Your preview reflects the filters and contact records in your HubSpot account. Select **Next**, then choose **Active** or **Static** based on how membership should be managed. See [Choose the right segment type](#choose-the-right-segment-type) for guidance. HubSpot calculates these values from your account and current filters. Review the details and select **Save and process segment**. Wait until HubSpot finishes processing before using it in Eazybe. Your completed segment shows the contacts that match your filters. ## Choose the right segment type | Type | Best for | | ------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Active segment** | Recurring campaigns where contacts should enter or leave automatically when their data changes | | **Static segment** | One-time campaigns or a fixed group of contacts | ## Prepare the segment for an Eazybe broadcast Before selecting the segment in Eazybe: 1. Confirm that HubSpot has finished processing it. 2. Check that contacts have valid international phone numbers. 3. Open **Eazybe → Broadcasts → New broadcast**. 4. Select **HubSpot contact list** and choose the segment. If you edit a segment immediately before using it, HubSpot may still be updating its membership. Wait a moment, refresh the Eazybe page, and try again. Return to the broadcast guide and select your completed segment.
