# Check Broadcast Opt-Out Status in HubSpot

> View a contact's Eazybe broadcast opt-out status and the date and time it was last updated in HubSpot.

Use Eazybe's HubSpot contact properties to check whether a contact has opted out of WhatsApp broadcasts after unsubscribing in chat. Add the status and its last-updated timestamp to your **Contacts** view so you can review them together.

## Understand the contact properties

| Contact property | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Eazybe Broadcast Opt Out** | The contact's recorded broadcast opt-out status. **Opted In** indicates that the contact is recorded as opted in; an opted-out status indicates that the contact has unsubscribed from broadcasts. |
| **Eazybe Broadcast Opt Out Updated At (GMT+5:30)** | The date and time the broadcast opt-out status was last updated, shown in GMT+5:30. |

<Note>
  In **Choose which columns you see**, the timestamp property is listed as **Eazybe Broadcast Opt Out Updated At**, without the timezone suffix. The contact table displays the timezone with the date and time.
</Note>

## Add and check the properties

In HubSpot, open **CRM → Contacts** and select the contact view you want to use, such as **All contacts**. Open the table's column settings to display **Choose which columns you see**.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Select the broadcast opt-out properties">
    In **Choose which columns you see**, enter **Eazybe Broadcast** in the search field. Under **CONTACT INFORMATION**, select both properties:

    * **Eazybe Broadcast Opt Out**
    * **Eazybe Broadcast Opt Out Updated At**

    Click **Apply** to add the selected columns to your contact table.

    <Note>
      Selecting these columns changes what you see in the table. It does not subscribe or unsubscribe a contact.
    </Note>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Read the status and its update time">
    Back in **Contacts**, find the contact's row and review **Eazybe Broadcast Opt Out** alongside **Eazybe Broadcast Opt Out Updated At**. If the columns are outside your visible table area, scroll horizontally to find them.

    Read the status to check the contact's broadcast preference, then use the timestamp to see when that preference was last updated. This is the preference-update time, not the time a broadcast was sent or delivered.

    <Warning>
      The populated status rows in this screenshot show **Opted In**. The dates and values illustrate the table layout; check your own contact's row for their current recorded status.
    </Warning>

    <Note>
      A blank value or **--** does not confirm that a contact is opted in. It means no value is displayed for that property. Check the contact's recorded preference before using it to decide who should receive a broadcast.
    </Note>
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Check opt-outs for a specific broadcast

These HubSpot properties let you review the preference recorded on the contact. To inspect the **Opt Out** recipient group for an individual campaign, see [View Broadcast Analytics](/en/broadcasts/view-analytics).
